Steak Inn in Shell Knob

The steak at Staek Inn was so taste! My aunt said the Samon was taste as well. While in town the wife, kid and I stopped in at Steak Inn. The family we were visiting suggested them. Steak Inn did not disappoint. The wait was short and staff were on top of their game keeping drinks filled and food was out quickly. Did I say the steak was on point! Big thanks to the cheif!

Our meal was great, the service was great. They accommodated a table for 14 our server's were GREAT the food was great as always. They do a great job on steaks.

Second time visit in 6 months was average- salad bar was decent but only one trip through. The service was slow even though it wasn’t very busy. The steak was awesome, and the other food was great as well. Prices are good. Restaurant is spotless clean. No desserts on the menu. We may try it again.

The food is excellent. Ask about the Laker potato, it's not on the menu but it is a specialty

The last three times we ate there, the food was mediocre, the service was very slow and prices were outrageous for the amount of food servedThe last two times I ordered shrimp, it was bad and I was very ill within 30 minutes. Do not plan to ever go back.

I love this place. I know the owner personally. They've been coooking up steaks since the early 70s. Great location great atmosphere great everything! Good for the whole family go check it out!!

The staff is great! Steaks are top notch,food in general is great that's why we go back often! Small salad bar that's packed with good stuff, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Came well recommend by our hosts at the Rod and Reel resort. Good steak. Good atmosphere. Had a few well-made cocktails there too. Enjoyed our visit very much!

Good steaks and salad. Misses a trick by not serving desserts though. Pricey but good for a special occasion.

We stumbled upon this place by accident, but we are so glad we did. The food is excellent. Streak cooked to perfect order. Salad bar isn’t huge but very fresh with several homemade salads that were very good. Service was great, and staff were very kind and welcoming. Lastly, the grounds in which the restaurant sits upon is a beautiful sight to see! Overall, this was a wonderful restaurant and we will look forward to returning!

We had excellent service. I had the 8oz top sirloin, med rare. It was cooked just the way I like it. We had a larger party and our food came out fresh and hot. The place does get a little congested over by that salad bar.

The salad bar was fresh and I loved the garlic seasoned melba toast and the huge block of cheese that you slice yourself. The Flat Iron steak was amazing, seasoned just right and cooked perfectly as ordered. The baked potato was delicious as was the small loaf of bread that was served with our meal. We will definitely be going back!!!

The food was absolutely delicious. It took me 20 minutes to get my check. The bill was $70.00. I paid with a 100 dollar bill and was asked if I wanted change. It then took another 15 minutes to get my change. It wouldn't have been so bad, but I had a prior commitment.

Best food in Shell Knob! Everything from steak to the fish is great. The atmosphere is great. The service is good and friendly. Dont change a thing! See you in February!

We had heard good things about Steak Inn in Shell Knob so decided to give it a try. Only about a 30-minute drive from our lake condo in Kimberling City. We went on a Sunday evening and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was exceptional. My son and I had the 11 oz top sirloin, my daughter had the teriyaki chicken and my wife the chicken and shrimp kabob. It was all excellent! The steaks were cooked to perfection with great flavor. My wife and daughter also loved their choices. Salad bar was excellent with fresh and homemade sides and the staff replaced the tongs in each bowl regularly. We also had a couple of margaritas that were excellent....mine on the rocks and my wife's frozen. Would highly recommend the Steak Inn. We'll definitely be back!

Have eaten here for several years. A local establishment tucked away by the lake and they serve a variety of dishes but steak is what draws most people in. Good salad bar and a pleasant environment. They do close from January 1st to February 13 each year. Enjoy.

Steak for 2 wonderful. Salad bar wonderful! Bake potatoe just kinda plain, next time will try the 🍟. Drinks kinda weak and not cheap!

Steak, salad n bread good. But service was a real disappointment. Getting a 30 dollar steak usually comes with butter on my bake potato, not a bowl of little butter cubes and sour cream tubes. The wine was either bare foot or another lower grade not even poured. Zero small talk from waitress.. will not be returning unless Invite by friends.

Another great meal. We stop in for Rib-Eyes any time we are in the area, always cooked to perfection with great seasoning. The salad bar is very good, but the homemade croutons push it over the top. Can't wait to go back.

Place was clean and nice, ordered a sirloin medium RARE....came our med well. I said something and was told that it was their version of medium...have eaten steak in 26 different states and never heard that lol always assumed standards were the same. Baked potato was very dry and skin was hard. The portabella fries were tasty and the flavor of the steak was good just not what I ordered. They did offer to cook me another. If I'm back in this area again I'll give them a second try because I know places can have a off night. Oh and no sweet tea...because as I was told that would require them to have to have another container and pitcher to clean at the end of the night and they were NOT gonna have that?!?!??!

My wife and I make it a point to eat here every time we visit Shell Knob. Sometimes we eat there every night that we're in town. We always get the pork chops or sirloin steak but I'm sure everything on the menu is good. We've never had a bad experience.
